British institution Burberry are fully embracing the digital revolution for London Fashion Week this year by teaming up with Japanese app Line to live stream their Prorsum catwalk show. The messaging app has approximately 170 million active monthly users who can now download specially designed stickers of loveable characters Brown and Cony dressed to impressed in the latest Burberry fashions.
There’s no shortage of luxury labels in Japan and it looks like Burberry are set to make an even stronger impression of the brand with this feat. Users in Japan will be able to live stream the show and receive content, meaning Burberry are set to expand their audience significantly in the region while building a collaborative relationship with reputable creators of innovative technology.
Burberry and Line have also released a trailer for the LFW event for us. Looks like Brown and Cony will be hanging in the frow with fashion elite Anna, Cara and Mario for this catwalk first. Don’t miss the show on Monday 23rd at 1pm GMT and catch the live stream here.
